The other type is the economically suffering type, who can’t find a decent job nor secure an income. They would go as far as to risk their lives in order to emigrate – even if illegally-to search for a better future outside of Egypt. Although their jobs abroad might not be suitable to their level of education, it allows them to save up money and start off, something they couldn’t do in their own country. Their despair would push them as far as to ignore the historical conflict with Israel and go there searching for employment, income and sometimes even a family. Observers have concluded that the first type voluntarily gave up the Egyptian identity, while the second type has lost it along the way.
