This study is a serious attempt to fill the void in the literature study mismatch between education and employment in Egypt, using the Egyptian labor market surveys in 2006, known as (ELMPS), as well as the Egyptian Labor Market Survey for 1998, widely known as (ELMS). Our research validates the empirical evidence between (low) levels of education and employment opportunity rates in the labor market, with special focus on the private sector. The study additionally assesses the rate and magnitude of discrepancies between education and employment in terms of gender and profession, keeping track of the probability of high rates of non-compliance with the passage of time.
